We have 12 individually designed ensuite bedrooms, on a bed and breakfast basis, to make the most of your stay at The Swan Inn.
Ten rooms are located in the main building and a further two — featuring large enclosed private gardens — are situated in our converted pre-Victorian stable block.
Each room is inspired by the artists, writers and musicians who have stayed at The Swan Inn over the years.
Our Rooms
We’ve used antique furniture and artisanal British fabrics to underscore the inn’s historic charm, while modern luxuries include handmade British bedrames, Verden toiletries and Frette bed linen. Every choice has been made with comfort in mind, from the peaceful colour palette — ranging from soft reds, blues and greens to warm neutrals — to the sumptuous fabrics and wallpapers.
All our rooms are furnished with a king-size or twin beds and have an ensuite bathroom with a monsoon shower and/or a freestanding bath. Other amenities include a smart television, WiFi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Breakfast is served in The Barn overlooking the cobbled courtyard. The sitting room in The Barn is exclusively reserved for our overnight guests, and is equipped with a log-burning stove, as well as an array of books curated by the local Reader’s Good Book shop.
