How do I make a booking at Swan Inn?
The availability of all our bedrooms and the Dining Room is available online and is a live booking system. You can always call us if you would like to speak to us directly about a booking.
How can I cancel my room booking if I cannot make it?
You can cancel your room booking through our website or by contacting us directly. However, please note that we have a 7-day cancellation policy on our Flexible rate bookings so we will charge you the full amount if you do not cancel within 7 days of your booking.
How can I cancel my Dining Room booking if I cannot make it?
You can cancel your Dining Room booking through our website or by contacting us directly. We ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice prior to your booking. Parties of 6+ will be charged £20 per person if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, if we can’t rebook your table. We will always try to rebook your table, so the quicker you can notify us – the better!
What if I can’t find The Swan Inn?
If you get lost or would like any further information on how to get to the Pub, please get in touch with us and we would be delighted to help.
What time can I check-in?
You can check in between 3pm and 7pm. If your room isn’t quite ready, you can join us for a drink in the bar and get comfortable whilst you wait.
Can I arrange for a late check-in/out?
Please let us know if you require a later check in/out as early as you possible can. We will do our best to be as accommodating as possible with this request, as we want our guests to be able to stay and relax for as long as possible at The Swan Inn.
Is breakfast included in my room rate?
Yes, a continental breakfast is included with our Flexible room rate, and it will be served from 8am until 10am in the Barn. You can add on a cooked breakfast too!
Do you have cots or small beds for children?
If you require a cot for your baby or an additional small bed, there will be a charge of £35 per child, per night. Only a few of our rooms can accommodate this request, so please get in touch prior to your arrival to ensure we can meet your needs.
Where can I park?
We do not have a car park, however there is free on street parking on Lower Street. Please be mindful of our neighbours and don’t block driveways.
Do you accept group bookings?
We certainly do. A group is classed as 6 or more rooms being booked together during the same dates for the same purpose. Any booking for 6 rooms or more will be subject to the group conditions of deposit and cancellation policies.
Do you accept American Express?
Yes!
Is the Pub wheelchair accessible?
Most of the ground floor of the pub is accessible and there is an accessible loo. However, due to the age of the building it can be difficult to get around inside due to lots of small steps.
Is there good phone signal or Wi-Fi at The Swan Inn?
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the pub, through sign up or linking of social media. However, the phone signal in the area isn’t very strong, so we recommend using Wi-Fi calls.
Can I bring my dog to The Swan Inn?
Yes! We have some dog friendly bedrooms, both located in our stable annex. A charge of £35 per dog, per night will be added to your final bill. We will provide a dog bed, bowl, treats and towels for muddy paws!
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are planning on bringing your four-legged friend with you so that suitable room and or table can be allocated.
Please keep dogs off the furniture and bedding, and on a lead at all times when inside the pub.
Can I have a private party at The Swan Inn?
Yes! If you wish to hold a private party in our Barn, we can seat up to 24 or have 60 standing. Please get in touch so that we can discuss numbers and show you our Feasting Menus.
Can you cater for those with food allergies and intolerances?
We do indeed and your safety is of paramount importance to us. Please let us know of any allergies at the point of ordering.
Do you have a children’s menu?
Yes we do. We can also do smaller portions of dishes for the littles ones too.
If I need to get in touch with somebody after hours, is this possible?
Certainly. As there will be no staff members on site between approximately 11:30pm and 7am, we will give you a selection of emergency numbers that you can call if needed.
Can I get a taxi to The Swan Inn?
Due to our rural location, taxi services are limited. We do advise booking in advance for all taxi journeys throughout your stay. We have however partnered with The Out – a premium Car hire service, please get in touch if you need some more information.
Where is the nearest train station?
Pulborough Station is a 5 minute drive from The Swan Inn. It’s a direct 1 hour 15 minute train from London Victoria on the Portsmouth/Southampton line. Trains depart every 30 minutes. Should you be travelling from London, do remember that the train normally divides at Horsham so please make sure you are in the correct carriage to avoid an extra journey!
With prior notice we are happy to offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service to Pulborough Station for guests staying overnight in one of our rooms.
What is there to do whilst staying at The Swan Inn?
We have a vast array of local activities we can point you in the direction of, ranging from clay pigeon shooting, bike hire, kayaking, fishing and foraging – please ask for details at reception. There is also a map of things to do and places to see in the local area in your room box. A lot of our staff our local, so please do ask them for any tips!
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do. These vouchers start from £50, and they will be valid for 12 months from the day of purchase. You can purchase these through our website or see the team on site and they can help.
